It was the morning of February 19, 2010 that I decided to write about my runs (1st post:
I would run away). I so engrossed into running that I wanted to share my progress to friends and fellow runners. Time flies to fast that I just found out that this is my 152nd post and an anniversary post at
that, so HAPPY 1st RUNNING BLOG ANNIVERSARY to me.
Celebrating this with some FIREWORKS from SM Mall of Asia. Yes, I watched the China and France fireworks display last night and it was epic, especially China. They indeed painted the black sky with bursts of colors- dancing yellow, red, green, blue, orange and violet flares.
Showers of fireworks while the crowd record the moment thru their cameras and phones, France’s display
Along with the celebrations, I would like to thank certain people who have influenced me one way or another into blogging.
Sir Wayne Plymale. I can still remember your comment (the very first comment I received): “ Hi James. A great start to your blog. You did it so well. Continue the great success with this, with the things you do on Daily Mile, with running and your every day
life. Take care my friend! – Wayne”
Kenley Jones. Thank you for reading my blog and commenting on each post. I appreciate that brother and hope to run with you when you come here in the Philippines. We will definitely have a series of rave runs.
RunningAtom, MinnieRunner, Estan, Jazzrunner, Maan C, Kassy and D-LonerRunner- you guys are the first group of bloggers I get contact and meet.

Ms.Jaymie aka TBR, if not for the TBR Dream Marathon 2010 edition, I would not have been so focused in training and believing in myself that I can do the distance with proper training. Thanks a lot, I’ m your fan and your faithful reader.

After more than a year of running, I’ m happy to see my mileage at
1,850 kilometers. I was able to run at the northernmost part of the Philippines-
Batanes and to the southern part-
Camiguin in Mindanao. I hope to run on more places this 2011.
Finally, please do share the site to others as well, to those who want a healthy lifestyle. Would you also do another mile for me by “ liking” my Facebook Fanpage-
journeyingjames or if you already did, recommend it to other runners as well.
Muli, sa kaibuturan ng aking puso, MARAMING MARAMING SALAMAT PO!
I have some plans on my second year in blogging, those are:
1. Focus on promoting out-of-town races.
2. Share the thrill of trail runs.
3. Continue doing rave runs around the Philippines.
All for the best!
