This is a very late post but I hope this counts

Here’s what i think some of the Emerging and Influential Blog of 2011 in no particular order. Also, let me say that these blogs are not only about running ang travel.

Sports:

RunProud. A helpful website for those who are into running. you can check some tips, nutrition and race annoncements here. Plus, the author is a runner himself and very much into the active lifestyle.

PinoyOutdoors. As the name suggest, this blog encourages everyone to discover the outdoors. Whether it be mountaineering, rowing, running, biking, multi-sports, you can find what you are looking for here.

UlikBlogRunner. A funny account of the things you will read on the running blog scene. He has the knack for telling stories in a hilarious tone. Read one of his post and you will never be bored and will read the rest of the archives.

Travel:

Libotero. Based in Cebu, he shares his adventures in the Philippines. As a traveler myself, I like his interactive map on his sidebar. Let’s the reader know where his wanderlust has brought him already.

BatangLakwatsero. Based in Manila, this student is sure to teach readers things that we often take for granted. His blog is full of trivia and after reading a post, you want to go to the place he visited.

Food:

Eat’s Terrific –It’s terrific to eat! If ever you are on the lookout for gastronomic destinations in Southern Philippines, this blog is your best guide!

Fashion:

Kikay Much – a blog by a beautiful fashionista, it is now a source of information not only of the latest fashion trends but on the most modern hair and make-up techniques since she her family owns and manages a chain of salons in Mindanao.  The author really know what she blogs about.
