Open Letter to the Organizers Men’s Health Urbanathlon

To Whom It May Concern,

A good day!

Hoping that this letter finds you well.

I just want to let you know  that you guys did a good job, wait, amazing job on the race last Sunday. You guys rock! It was a blast and will definitely join the 2011 edition. You just created a benchmark in race organizing.

The two waves of runners per category is a bright idea so as not to crowd the obstacles. Enough manpower in the baggage area, on-time gunstart, very encouraging (and nice-looking) marshals, nice and uncrowded route, enough Gatorade and water and accurate distance. There is shower at the finish line and the atmosphere was festive. On time posting of race results.

The obstacles are challenging, especially the low crawl. But I really love the wall, I hope there will be additional walls next year, longer balance beam, and more tire dumps. How about making it 10K and 16K next edition?

Thanks to Summit Media for sponsoring an event like this.

Respectfully,

James Betia

P.S. I am happy to see myself tagged on Facebook.

I have yet to see my photos on the obstacle courses. I hope I have been captured in one of the many lenses out there. Please if you have seen one. Thanks!

Also, I am very happy with my time, just 2 minutes over my 10K PR, if not for a chitchat break at KM.5, I should have broken my PR. :)
