"on a shoestring"

This is what we are waiting for! Don’t tell Adidas, I’m really a BIG fan of Nike. But I have to tell you something, I’m kinda bored with the usual Bonifacio Global City routes after running 32K yesterday.

So, I’m still debating whether I join this one. But, if Nike will raffle (or better yet have it as Christmas gift for fans) running shoes, I will definitely join.

FUN RUN DETAILS: December 5 (Sunday), Assembly at 6:00am & Gunstart at 7:00am

1. CATEGORIES AND EVENT FEES

Student: PHP 100

Non-Student: PHP 300

School Challenge

2. REGISTRATION PERIOD: November 23, 2010 – December 2, 2010

3. REGISTRATION VENUES:

a. Nike Park  (BHS, Trinoma, Greenbelt 3, & Mall of Asia)

b. Nike Stadium – Alabang Town-Center

4. RACE KIT INCLUSIONS:

(bib; d-tag; race route map; race venue lay-out & getting to the race venue info. center)

5. SCHOOL CHALLENGE:

In this category, the school with the most number of accumulated kilometers ran will be the declared winner.

How?:

a. Students can register in group through their school or as an individual registrant.

b. Every student who registers will have to identify his/her school.

c. The most number of students from the school who ran and finish the race will be the winner of the Student Challenge.

6. PRIZES:

a. For Student Men’s and Women’s:

1st – 20,000 worth of Nike+ vouchers

2nd – 15,000 worth of Nike+ vouchers

3rd – 10,000 worth of Nike+ vouchers

b. For Non-Student Men’s and Women’s:

1st – 20,000 worth of Nike+ vouchers

2nd – 15,000 worth of Nike+ vouchers

3rd – 10,000 worth of Nike+ vouchers

c. For School Challenge: PHP 50,000 CASH + 50,000 Nike Voucher and trophy

7. NIKE+ MINI:

The Nike+ Mini is originally a personalizable application which when created, functions as a runner’s “mini me”. It changes with the runner’s activity and can be taken beyond the site (in facebook and blogs) for motivation and bragging to friends.

In this race, there will be no singlets, no finisher’s shirt or medals to be given away. Instead, Nike will be having a “finisher’s give-away” in the form of the Nike+ Mini doll.
