"on a shoestring"

Sometimes you dream even when you’re not sleeping. This is one of those moments that you wish you have lots of money to buy those you dream of.

Been up at this time, maybe because  I overslept during the afternoon nap. I was thinking of the things I need in my running “career.” Although I don’t believe in Santa, I believe Rudolph wants to deliver gifts this Christmas. ha ha ha (not ho ho ho) We’ll see…

So here’s my Christmas Wish List:

1. Saucony Progrid Kinvara. My NB MR92 is close to retirement and I’m beginning to feel that the cushioning is giving up. So I’m eyeing this sexy Kinvara, yellow and black combination (Livestrong color) or the white and purple combination.

2. Compression Tights. Any brand would do. A lot of people say that running tights will look good on me because I’m long-legged. Now, if that would make me faster (and sexier), why not?

3. A new running shorts- Saucony would be better. Would you believe that I only have 4 running shorts? So I think its time to have a spanking brand new shorts right?

4. Running Visor. My Nike cap is already soiled after more than a 1000 kilometers. Now if I got the Kinvara, a fitting head gear would be a Saucony Ignite sun visor.

5. Mountain Bike. Last but not the least, I need something for my cross-training. A simple mountain bike. This would also bring JourneyingJames to a lot of places. Meaning a lot more of running.

How I wish every page visit on my blog would earn me a dollar. Still, I’m thankful for my old shoes, others don’t have one. I have 4 shorts and I can still wear my Nike cap. Lastly, I’m thankful that I don’t have injury.
