    Having discovered that a cerebral and sedentary person like me can actually conquer 21kms (and hopefully more), I choose to keep healthy and active because it is when I’m active that I’m at my most creative and most productive. ^_^

    To stay healthy I try and maintain a steady diet of everything my body needs, like fruit, vegetables, beer, etc.. I also make sure that I get plenty of rest each night averaging 3-4 hours. To stay active, I run, bike, and lay cable on a daily basis. It is an awesome feeling of being healthy. You can be healthier if you chose to do so today. The body transformation will occur with patience and hard work. What are you waiting for. Get off your @$$ and GO!

    It is important to be healthy and active to keep our body in good condition as they say healthy body, healthy mind. And to prevent ourself from getting overweight, which will help avoid illness.     I need to stay healthy and active to be able to take care of my boys…my husband and son. I have to be healthy for myself too in order to do all the things I wanna do, like running, even if I get old already. I wanna see myself dying because of old age instead of dying because of illness due to bad diet and unhealthy lifestyle.

    Its important to be healthy and active to keep our bodies in good condition and avoid illnesses. In case anyone among my family and loved ones needs my organs (you never know, right?), I’d like to be in the best condition to donate. I think that’s the best gift anyone can give, and a very good reason to stay healthy.

    answer on question #1: beeing healty and active is important in our everyday life our body create by God to do what is your purpose to serve for humanity and mother nature human body is the engine thats keep us going and live the way of life. if you maintain your body in great physical,mental and spiritual condition its mean that you can serve more than the other who is not healty!remember “healthy is morethan beeing wealty” answer on question #2 the only thing i do to be healty and active is to have, proper time management and the commitment to be healty! sports like running is only one of many instruments to become active and healty. self desipline is the most important factor in your proper diet, exercise,etc.!!!! it is you that decide to your own body:-)chosee wellness hehehe!!!!

    “health is wealth”, it sounds cliche but it is true that staying healthy is a precious possession we can have and being active offers lots of advantages not just for our mind and body but also a way to have fun with family and friends; and lowers risks for illnesses.

    i stay healthy by doing a lot of walking, instead of just riding a car or tricycle. i also make it a point to stand up from my workplace and walk around, it would make my blood circulate better and also give my eyes a rest from the computer.

    It is important to be healthy and active to keep us away from sickness and diseases especially this rainy days. It also keep us to stay fit to do our day to day jobs but most importantly it helps us to spend some quality time for our family after we have finished our jobs by the end of the day.

    It is important to be healthy and active because this is the key to living life to the fullest. I personally want to reach my maximum possible age to see my sons all grown up, see all my future grandchildren (and hopefully, play with them!)and grow old with my husband–as in, being able to take “holding-hand-while-walking” afternoon strolls at at park! :D

    Above everything else, I love myself, and that is the main reason why I must stay healthy and active. Nothing beats keeping myself in the pink of health to stay productive and live my life the best way I could. Theologically, my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, created in God’s likeness and image, thus it is only fitting that I keep it clean and unscathed. Personally, I have to stay healthy and active that I may serve the purpose of my being here, and that is to live a life of service to my loved ones.

    To stay healthy and active, I maintain a lifestyle free from vices,undue stress and clutter. I keep negative thoughts away, I exercise regularly, I stay away from the idiot box and read books instead, I eat and drink only want I need, I laugh and love fully, and most of all, I always stay at peace with my God.

    I maintain a healthy lifestyle in accordance to what I can only do and sustain in a given time frame. I also treat myself to food cravings once in a while, as well as personal treats (travel, shopping, night-outs) everytime I attain my set health goals. Not but not the least, I keep track of my progress (exercise, diet, and life goals) to remind me of my before and after transformation. :)

    -In order to stay healthy and active, I don’t smoke and I don’t drink because I know that it has bad effects to my healthy body. I also avoid eating too much of something because it is not good for the body too. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is indeed very hard of today’s generation but it always pay to be healthy and active.

    Why is it important to be healthy and active?
    A healthy and active body makes me feel alive.
    A healthy and active mind makes me become whole.
    A healthy and active lifestyle completes my person.
    I turn into whatever I want to be. I am living my best, I reach my fullest potential, and I become a wonderful, beautiful human when I am exercising every part of my being.

    To live a little bit longer! Eating the right foods and keeping my body in shape will result in having more energy in performing my job better and do more of the activities i love to do and a regular exercise as well. To become motionally secure ~ People who live a life style of healthy living are much happier and able to get pleasure from life and not distracted by health problems with less worries and deal with stress better!

    I drink as much water as possible, even exceeding 8 glasses a day to make sure all unnecessary toxins leave my body. Water is the best therapy to prevent some illness. I always monitor the foods i eat, I’m a bit health and body conscious so i make sure i have a balance diet. I make sure i have enough sleep everyday so that i can perform and think well in my everyday life. I do exercise at least 2 times week,or have a massage to relax my tired muscles because of heavy works. Eating healthy foods, drinking water, enough sleep and good exercise is the way to have a healthy and active life.

    What do you do to stay healthy and active?

    Iam a mother of two kids. an 8 year old and a n 8month old.
    1. To stay healthy I always make sure that I also involved my family in staying healthy by preparing a balanced meal everyday.
    2. Since, I just gave birth to a baby boy, I make sure that I also get enough sleep and rest.
    3. To stay active I make sure that I find time to do a 30 minute cardio. and Have time to play with my kids.

    Staying healthy and active is a must in our modern lifestyle. You need to be disciplined and determined to be healthy not only for yourself but also for your family.
    I do this by eating nutritious foods, exercising, staying away from vices, taking multivitamins and surrounding myself with healthy relationships.

    being healthy and active is important because it makes your life longer and enjoy every inch of good things in life. Also, it lessen the problem when it comes to money, because if your not healthy you have high risk to develop diseases so you’ll need to consult a doctor and it cost a lot…

    Being healthy and active for me is very important because as a working mother of three young girls, I want to be there for my daughters as they grow up, be able to answer all their questions about things as they grow up, to be always present as their best friend in the whole world, to be able to guide them in every step of the way they take. It will be impossible if I don’t take care of my health and being active is one way of maintaining a healthy body.

    I believe that Health is Wealth. We often hear that but based on my personal experience I can attest that it truly is. Here are the things I do to stay healthy and active:
    1.) I run. that is the cheapest and most convenient way of being active. As a matter of fact I joined in Run United 1 and registered already for Run United 2 =)
    2.) I play badminton, volleyball, boxing and occasionally I dance
    3.) Most importantly I eat healthy and take my daily dose of vitamins

    i make sure i maintain a healthy and rewarding diet. i eat healthy on weekdays and binge a little on sunday, my cheat day,so i dont binge on the other days. i destress by going out with friends and doing activities with them like walking or jogging. i laugh, i love and smile always :)

    “Prevention is better than cure”… At 53, I need to stay healthy and active so I can perform my tasks without any difficulty which includes taking care of my grandchildren.
    I make sure that I follow my doctor’s advice. Eat well, veer away from unhealthy activities and laugh a lot!

    Because sa panahon ngayon, mahirap ang magkasakit especially us, Filipinos who are family oriented persons, who really supports the needs of our family be it our parents or our own family. If we are not healthy and active, our body can’t work with ease and we are prone to sickness so because of that, how can we support our family?
