Blue Water Day Spa Fun Run: Podium Finish!
Podium finish! Podium finish! Podium finish!
NO! Not me, although, I really wish I run as fast as her. I’m talking about Julia, who placed 2nd on the women’s 5K division this morning.
[Note: Photos can be viewed below while Race Results is available for download, see below.]
Julia is a member of MacRunners Sports, Inc from Los Banos, I met her and her dad Mang Ramon 3weeks ago. Looking at her running feats before I sponsored her registration through my complimentary race kit from the organizers.
Julia together with her dad Mang Ramon stayed in my place last night, we had some chats while they have their chicken adobo. I really believe that she will win the race big time. They went to sleep early and I’m a bit nervous about the race day. This will be Julia’s race debut in Manila.
Indeed, after 23:44 minutes, I saw her on the finish line catching her breath. She said that she wasn’t able to warm-up properly because she could do better than that. Well, for me, I’m so happy and congratulated her and her dad for the nice run. Telling them that this will be first, more races to come. I hope I can do this more often, being of “little” help to Filipino (would-be) elite runners. LSS: “I wanna be a millionaire so freakin’ bad…”

I really wish, I run as fast as Julia, but for now, let me say thanks to Blue Water Day Spa for sponsoring a great fun run! No frills (some loot bags are just bags), over-all it was a nice run.
Again, congrats Julia and Mang Ramon!
