"on a shoestring"

After almost a year of running experience I can see myself being choosy on the races I will join. It’s very easy for me now to say ‘pass’ to a particular race eventhough its “for a cause” or “with a finisher’s medal” or “breakfast buffet.” I think sometime in your “running career” you think about of what really is your purpose and motivation of joining a race. This is a time wherein everyone in Manila runs a 5K race- then posting a Facebook status: “just finished running 5K with friends” with matching running profile picture proud of his/her sweaty singlet.

Anyway, if you are not like that maybe this one is for you! Validate your seriousness in running this coming December and Settle the Score.
